All I know is that it’s an English series that’s been around longer than most it’s fans, the main character is almost invariably dressed like a homeless man or psychiatric patient on the loose, and it seems that he’s always been chased by the most feeble robots I’ve ever seen. Please, tumblr, educate me.

It is the single greatest television series ever. EVER.

But what is so awesome about it? I know like next to nothing about it save for the little I’ve learned from reading the packaging on some of the dvd’s. For starters, why have they had like 13 different guys play the doctor?

Because Time Lords can regenerate when close to death.
